Terrina Chrishell

Terrina Chrishell Stause[1] (born July 21, 1981) is an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role is her character Amanda Dillon in All My Children and Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. Stause was born in Draffenville, Kentucky native. She graduated from Murray State University with a B.A. She started performing in theater in 2003. The name she chose for her middle name, "Chrishell", is an expression of portmanteau that was created from the unusual circumstances of her birth. Her mother had her baby in an Shell station, and Chris was present during the delivery. Strause's book debunks the myths about her birth. She told Strause that her mother had car trouble and that she stopped at an auto repair shop. As she waited at the station, she was in pre-labor, and the attendant at the car truly helped her get to an emergency room. Strause was delivered in an in-hospital. Before she knew she was pregnant her mother broke up with her biological father, who was half Japanese and half Spanish. Jeff is her stepfather. Chrishell Strause was forced to be in a tent for one period of time during middle school. Strause remembers the time she washed her hair in the river, eating food stamps, and hiding her true identity from her peers. Her parents "struggled with mental and addiction health" and when she joined the Worldwide Church of God when she was 10 years old. Her mother was never able to have any steady employment and Strause describes her as free spirit and self-righteous.
